Originally from Connecticut, I came to Northern Virginia to attend school at Marymount University and have stayed since, as I adore the area.
I first learned carpentry and remodeling from my father who had his own small remodeling and custom furniture business. I worked for him throughout high school and kept within the trade working for local remodelers throughout college and beyond going from carpenter, to lead carpenter, and then to project management. Eventually transitioning into project consulting and sales side of the industry. However, I always jump at the opportunity to though a tool belt on again. This places my experience within the industry at over 25 years.
The creativity and problem solving that this position offers are passions of mine. Uncovering and understanding the “why” and deeper motivations for the project help me to craft custom solutions. I look at every project as a partnership and absolutely love working with our clients to help guide them on the best path to improve their homes and turn their visions a reality.
