Liz Lee studied at Virginia Tech in engineering and ultimately followed her passion for design and graduated with a degree in interior design. She found her expertise in residential architecture during her internships with local design build firms. 

Liz is a talented and thoughtful Architectural Designer who brings creativity, precision, and heart to every project she touches. She has a gift for truly listening to homeowners, transforming their ideas, needs, and lifestyles into beautiful, functional designs they can visualize and get excited about.

From early concept sketches to detailed construction drawings and 3D renderings, Liz ensures every plan is both inspiring and practical. She carefully balances design, budget, and code requirements, making sure each project is feasible and set up for success from the start. Her expertise in tools like AutoCAD/Revit and Chief Architect allows her to craft clear, accurate plans that guide projects smoothly from paper to reality.

Liz works closely with clients, contractors, and engineers throughout the entire process, building strong relationships and keeping communication open every step of the way. Whether she’s helping select materials, providing cost guidance, or visiting job sites, Liz is fully invested in delivering spaces that feel personal, polished, and perfectly tailored to each homeowner’s vision.

Liz is a certified kitchen and bath designer, aging in place specialist, and universal design certified professional. Her designs have been awarded several regional and national awards throughout her career.

Liz enjoys crafting and puzzles during her free time when she is not busy chasing her three boys around.
