Before joining Heartland Design and Remodeling as Director of Marketing, I spent 15 years at the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) where I served as Vice President of Membership and Chapter Development. Even though SMPS is an association for marketing professionals, my job didn’t involve marketing activities. However, working with creative thought leaders for over a decade inspired me to enter their field five years ago.

I love that marketing combines art and science, allowing me to be creative and technical while still keeping the human aspect of a brand in mind. As someone who enjoys doing creative things that require real analysis, a career in marketing was the perfect fit for me, and I am passionate about it.

Working for Heartland Design is different every day, with new and exciting opportunities to promote our brand through storytelling and content marketing. My job involves developing simplified and actionable marketing plans, designing ad campaigns, analyzing data to measure success, experimenting with new digital marketing platforms, producing videos, and so much more. Being a marketer is never boring!
